We had the unique opportunity to create an Olympics-themed TV spot during the 2020 games. The goal was to avoid official mentions of the Olympics for obvious reasons. However, we still wanted to celebrate the U.S. athletes, especially those from Houston, like Simone Biles. Essentially, we needed to tip toe around a lot of issues, while still providing an “Olympic” vibe, promoting jewelry and showing hometown pride. I think the final product came out pretty good and it was a blast to collaborate with the AD/Animator to come up with a creative solution.
